February 4th, 2008 The scientific journal CALICO has just released a review of BonPatron.com. According to their extensive evaluation, BonPatron is able to catch 88% of student errors (and its feedback is deemed beneficial more than 90% of the time). You can read the full review here. January 30th, 2008 BonPatron Pro just got a little better! We have recently added an English - French translation tool. You can try it out over the next few weeks on our free site. April 18th, 2007: In the last two days we've had some performance issues with the server, in large part because the response to our new interface has been fantastic. We've made a few adjustments and things should now be working smoothly. April 10th, 2007: We've made an improvement that will make it easier to use some extended symbols, including currency symbols. To insert special characters in the advanced editor, click on the Ω button (just above the editor). April 8th, 2007: We've added several button above the advanced (default) editor that should make it much easier to copy, paste, and print texts, either in styled or plain format. For now, the grammar checking capabilities of SpellCheckPlus.com are much more limited than those of your favourite tool for French (LePatron), but we invite you to help us improve it by sending your comments and questions! If you indicate that you are francophone (after the words "je suis" at the bottom of the screen), LePatron will ignore errors that are found only in the texts of second language learners.
